2 New Additions!!

We have 2 new additions in my house!! Yep....
They are both Boston Terriers...full of energy. Even though they are 5 days apart, they haven't spent a moment without each other since we've had them home.

First, meet Sadie.

Description: Loves to be cuddled and loved on. Super excited (all the time) and can jump to any height if you are holding a treat. If she is bored with the toys she has been given, she will for sure find other things in the home to entertain her (my man says, that's putting it mildly). Laughing.

Second, meet Sophie.

Description: Loves to please...never wants to be in trouble and if she does something bad she instantly runs for her life and hides under the bed (good luck getting her out). She is super, super tiny for her age and the Dr. says she will be very small for her breed. Super independant but can't resist getting under the covers and snuggling with ya.

They are just so precious to us and add a ton of crazy to our home (since it wasn't crazy enough).

Bible Study and stuff...

I'm so excited about this semester...

I'm currently teaching a Bible Study for Mothers of Daughters. It's super exciting. We are going through,"5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter" followed by, "Your Girl". Love that Moms are equipping themselves in God's Word to raise up the next generation for Him. These Mommas are just so precious to me and I know God is going to do amazing things through them, their relationship with their daughters, and through their daughter's lives.

Also, I'm loving that my man and I are getting plugged in to some new areas at church. I just love church. I am flat out a church girl. Sunday mornings come and I'm just pumped to go to God's House and worship Him...even though I have a standing date with God every morning, there is just something about coming together corporately to worship our Savior. If you aren't plugged in to a church...just want to encourage you to find a place and get plugged in.

What makes our house Christmas...

I just LOVE Christmas...literally I started playing Christmas music the moment I flipped my calendar to November. We normally put our Christmas decor up the first weekend in November and it comes down the day after Christmas, but this year the decor stayed up until after Winter Wonderland Bible Study. I was so ready for it to be taken down! Wanted to share with you what makes our home Christmas...

I tried to get a good picture of our front door...sorry the sun was setting so there is a shadow...I made this garland this year...

Here is an up close shot...

The snowman is also a new addition this year. He came home with me after a Christmas Market my mom and I went to!!

Here is my table...this was my first seasonal centerpiece that started it all!!

My mom blessed with me my own Department 56 village when my man and I first got married. Dept 56 Christmas villages in my family are a big thing...

Of course Christmas decorating would not be complete without mistletoe!

Yes, our dogs have stockings!!

A close up of the garland I made...

Our tree....

What Christmas is all about...

Before we were married my mom gave my man one year for Christmas a mobile of Santa flying. So now he flies around our entryway during Christmas....told you I LOVE Christmas.

Catch Up - Part 2

I was completely blessed and blown away by God this past winter. I taught a winter Bible Study during the Christmas break called 'Winter Wonderland'. The 3 week series was for girls 7th-college. It was an absolute blast.

God laid on my heart at the end of the summer to start preparing on a series for getting to your personal Promise Land - and by getting there you got to go through your 'wonderland'. We dove into finding what God's promises are for us, how to walk them out, having giants in our land, and last but not least taking His promises to the world.

If you have attended Bible study with me before, you know I like to 'bling or pimp' anything and everything out. For the 'wonderland' feel I decided to hang over 300 snowflakes and icicles from my ceiling. It was a pain...I'm not going to lie, but it sure was worth it. From the water bottles, pens, and paper there was no question what our theme was. Don't you just love the fact we serve the most Creative Being ever? I sure do! I love that every time the girls mention how cool it looks...I say don't you just love that the God we serve isn't boring but fun and so creative. I'm grateful we can tap into that!! Here are some pics of the study...

I'm going to end by sharing with you some very precious people to me. God laid on my heart early on when He was speaking to me about the study about bringing some leaders in...to be completely honest I was very hesitant on this one! It challenged me to let go of things I love to hold on to! But let's just say God knew exactly what He was doing..shocker, right? He picked for this study some awesome women who love and seek Him daily. Girls that love God, love Bible Study, and love on the other girls. We had such an awesome time before each Bible Study getting on our knees worshipping and praying for the study God had for that night. I can't thank each of those girls enough. They went above and beyond...I know God has huge plans for them in the future.

I'm really excited to see who God is going to raise up to become leaders for the next study. Below is a pic of the precious leaders I'm talking about..

Catch Up - Part 1

I have several things to catch you up on...

First off - HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I'm so thankful for another year...I love the start of a new year. The blank pages of my calendar excite me (I know it seems crazy), but I can't wait to see what God is going to fill those calendar pages with...I just love seeking God and praying about the year ahead. 2011 is going to be a great year!!!

Second - Here is a pic of a few of the women I did Bible Study with last fall. I just adore each of these women so much. They are just flat out precious to me. I wasn't able to get a picture of everyone, but I had such a blessed 2010 fall by studying God's Word with them!!

This first photo is with Samuel...he has a special meaning to our class.

Last thing - I wanted to share a few photos with you that my man and I had done for Christmas cards this past year...
